Southern Sunset
I was just looking thru random pictures and found these that I meant to put up when I got home from Tennessee... three weeks ago. Well, better late than never.
Anyways I was exhausted and slept thru take-off, and when I woke up this is what I saw (cue angels singing):

I was kind of surprised that my point and shoot could take a decent into-the-sun picture. When I woke up the next time I was over Dallas to land for my lay-over, and it was right at rush hour so it looked really cool from the air with all the lights of cars in traffic- but I was way too tired to even attempt to take a picture of that.
And since the above shots reminded me of watching the sunrise from the top of Mount Haleakala on Maui last December, here's a shot from that too:

Apparently I like my sunsets/rises crooked.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and my condolences to Oregon Duck fans. :P

Ooooooh pretty!
cool pics! your digi shoots kodak film? that's crazy.
Sunsets in airplanes are always spectacular! On a recent flight I took off as the sun was setting and I was headed west so it took forever to completely set. Loved every minute of it.
That's awesome. I got one on my way home, too, but no sunset. Look... mackephotography.com/plane.jpg
