This past Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting ReBecca & Adam's wedding in Hillsboro. These two have some adorable kids, which made for a lot of great moments to photograph!





















The last three were shot in the lobby of Hotel Monaco Portland, where they were staying the nite before heading off on their honeymoon.

Stephanie - Bridal Session

Who needs a groom? :) Stephanie's husband-to-be Scott lives out of state, so he wasn't available for an engagement session. We went the bridal session route instead, getting a little practice in before their August 4th wedding:

Yesterday evening I had the opportunity to photograph Katie and her adorable kids - Asher, Kayleigh & baby Emma. Katie's husband missed out on the shoot, he was at home nursing an injury - but we'll catch him next time! :)





The next two just crack me up, such a fun group...

Carrie & Danny - 7/7/7

Congrats to Carrie & Danny, and thanks so much for having me! A great group of people made their way to Vegas for their wedding, and despite the 114 degree heat I think it's safe to say everyone had a blast! So many to go thru but here are a few quick favs...















My friends Donni & Stephanie joined me for the weekend to hang out during my free time - They met up with us for the reception and wanted a photo of themselves jumping around on the dance floor like Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn in the movie Wedding Crashers - here's the result, haha!

Carrie & Danny - Fremont Street

Tonite (this morning?) Carrie, Danny, a few of their friends and I headed down to Fremont Street for a pre-wedding nite shoot. We got there at about midnite and left around 2am, so technically this all happened on the day of their wedding, the infamous 7/7/07.

I'm pretty tired, but am waiting for my friends to get back from their nite out sooo figured I'd put up a few from tonite - it was definitely worth driving down to Fremont for the shoot instead of sticking to the strip!

Viva Hot Vegas!

I'm in Vegas for the weekend! I feel like I was just here, it's only been about three months since I was here for a photo convention. But last time wasn't nearly as hot! As we landed last nite around 10pm, the pilot announced that it was 105 degrees out. At 10pm?? Weird. So you can only imagine how hot it's supposed to get during the day...

I'm here to shoot Carrie & Danny's wedding tomorrow and some of their "pre-partying" tonite, which I know is going to be a blast because of the people involved.

This is the first trip in so long where I didn't fly by myself! I brought my friend Stephanie along for the ride - she's never been to Vegas, so between myself and a few other friends we'll be showing her the ropes. So far she hasn't said much (which is not normal), because there's "so much to look at!" :)

Maybe I'll upload some photos of our adventures in Vegas, but don't count on it (what happens in Vegas...)

Hope everyone had a great 4th! Here's one of Stephanie & I after watching Harrisburg's big fireworks show over the Willamette River - my mom has convenient front row seats at her house, then we set off some legal, mostly-boring fireworks. Next year I'm definitely planning a trip to Washington for some "Washington-legal" fireworks! :)

Allyssa

Yesterday Allyssa, one of my senior reps for '08, came down from Salem for her senior photos. I've had a lot of great girls from Salem lately, apparently everyone there is stunning and super nice - all single high school boys should be looking for girlfriends there :)
