Kristin + Matt: Corvallis Wedding

A few more from Kristin and Matt's wedding here in Corvallis:

Matt's bling - click here for a little backstory and to check out his action figure :)

Matt was asked to be a contestant on Deal or No Deal, but the show needed to be filmed just a few days after the wedding. They decided to skip the honeymoon and take their chances, and the show sent a videographer up to the wedding - Here's Josh and his fancy sign to warn everyone they could be on TV...

Their episode of Deal or No Deal airs Christmas Day, so after you've unwrapped all your presents be sure to check it out and see what happened, since they are sworn to secrecy and can't tell anyone til then :)

Allie: Senior Session

Seriously, why do I not realize that I keep choosing the same facial expressions to blog til I come here to post them? She does have teeth and she does smile and show them, I swear :)

Edited to add: See, she did smile and we maybe had fun :)

Kelsey: Senior Session

Kelsey and I met up last week for a second session before she gets busy with college. We met at 7:30am - and that's how you know I love you :)

Actually it was pretty nice, the light was perfect and it was nice and cool - well actually pretty cold. But that's better than being too hot! Maybe I should do super early sessions more often... But maybe not :)

Go Beavs! :)

Marie and Carley met with me sometime last week (losing track of days!) to shoot their senior sessions together. They were so fun to work with, thanks again ladies!

Brittney: Senior Session

More from last week, Brittney and her mom met me out at the farm for her senior session - Luckily it wasn't too windy and the weather was perfect!

During this session I also discovered that some uh, troublemakers (nicest word I could think of) messed with my old truck over the weekend, also managing to leave a nice array of toilet paper and beer cans out and about >:(

Doesn't it just look sad?? I couldn't get the hood to move at all on my own, but we (this meaning me harassing someone at the farm til they do it) should be able to put it back to normal-looking, and hopefully the gate will be fixed soon - it *may* have been hit by a tractor awhile back, so it hasn't exactly been functional - and no, I didn't do it! My dad will read this and it's out at his farm - sounds like a good fall project, eh dad? :)

Um, yeah, I'm responsible for the broken gate. Nailed the post with the harrow, and I think Tim and Jesse still haven't forgiven me. But dangit, if I hadn't hit it, somebody else would have! Having to clear a gate whilst executing a 90-degree turn with harrow and roller = a major design flaw. That's my defense, anyway. :)

Madeline: Senior Session

Madeline and I met up for another shoot outside of Eugene recently - luckily, no cougars or bull snakes were to be found :)

The sisters, Madeline & Margaux

This Charlie's Angels pose was a special request by Margaux, haha! I believe her words were "I've always wanted to do this!" :)

Thanks girls, and Margaux best of luck with the big move and starting college in a few weeks!

Kristine: Senior Session

I hate making posts without words, but I now have 8 seniors (if you're reading this after 6pm, make that 10) and a wedding waiting to be blogged and sometimes the right words just take too long!

Kristin + Matt

Kristin and Matt tied the knot last Saturday here in Corvallis - I'll post the full wedding next week, but I just wanted to post a few that we took just a few hours ago! It makes it easy to plan a shoot after the wedding when there isn't a tux to return :)

More to come!

She is A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E!!! She has a "so fresh and so clean" look that I wish I had when I was a high school student! I love her choice of make up, too, very light. Unfortunately, most teenagers feel they need to pack on the make up like some celebrity in order to get noticed; but, Kendra definitely doesn't need all that to be "all that." That close-up of her is my favorite! GREAT SET!!!

I love this post. The girl is so darn cute and you captured her so well! I absolutely love that one backlit shot. Looks so ethereal.

On a side note, how in the world did you get your blogspot layout to look so flipping awesome? I am jealous.

Alison: Senior Session

Alison and Kendra met me for their senior sessions last week - They opted to each do the 2-3 hour session and double them up, which worked out to us shooting together for about 5 hours! I think having the extra time paid off, usually seniors are warmed up to the camera and more comfortable by the end of a typical hour-long session, resulting in better photos. So these two were pros when it was all said and done! It also gave us plenty of time to trek around to multiple locations. And all this without trespassing, gotta love growing up in a small town :)

Here are some of my favorites of Alison's, I'm working on Kendra's next so they'll be up soon!

What can I say, when you spend 5 hours with me you get a ginormous blog post ;)

Ashley

Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! I thought I'd try to relax a bit, and am now regretting it - It's been a super busy last couple of weeks (and future couple of weeks) for sessions, so I'm feeling a bit buried in photos at the moment!

I still have 7 seniors to blog from the past week, so hopefully you'll be seeing those soon. For now, here are a few of Ashley! She was adorable, and I'm looking forward to working with her and her dad's classic car in the near future :)
