Ashley

Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend! I thought I'd try to relax a bit, and am now regretting it - It's been a super busy last couple of weeks (and future couple of weeks) for sessions, so I'm feeling a bit buried in photos at the moment!

I still have 7 seniors to blog from the past week, so hopefully you'll be seeing those soon. For now, here are a few of Ashley! She was adorable, and I'm looking forward to working with her and her dad's classic car in the near future :)

Ashley + Colette: Double Senior Session

Ashley and Colette met me at the farm a few days ago to do their senior sessions together. The weather has been perfect for shooting this week, not too hot and no rain!

First up, Ashley:

Next up, Colette:

Thanks girls, enjoy your last few days before school starts!

And for those who are interested in doing their senior session with a friend, email me for more info on how you can save a little $ by doing them at the same time :)

Mallory + Kelsey: Double Senior Session

Earlier this week (is it already Friday?) I met up with Mallory and Kelsey for their double-header senior session.

This is what happens when I choose blog photos in the middle of the nite - yep, this would be Mallory doing almost the exact same thing five times, haha! Don't worry, she's much more talented than that - although the jury is still out on myself :)

And Kelsey, who I managed to mix up a tiny bit more for this post:

Thanks girls, I had fun!!

Off to bed with me... I have five more seniors to blog just from this week so many more updates are on the way! I'll try not to do those in the middle of the nite :)

Ellie: Senior Session

Ellie met me down at the farm yesterday for her senior session - It was crazy windy, but somehow it all worked out!

Also I realized today that the senior galleries on my web site were full of images from umm.. 2 years ago I think? I guess I've been slacking there, my stats show that most people go straight to the blog anyways :) But I updated that today with recent seniors, and you can see more photos of Ellie in a featured gallery there!

Hope everyone in Oregon is managing to stay cool these next few days, I personally don't have AC in my humble abode so I was sitting here with an ice pack on my head earlier this afternoon. Pretty classy :)

Amazing captures, Kacy! This is one of my favorite sessions you have ever done!

BTW- we have window units for our AC- they work pretty well- you should consider getting one! It will be less likely freeze your brain! :) Have a great weekend!!

Thanks ladies!!

Holli - I totally would but the apartment I'm in @ the moment doesn't allow window units! Apparently they like everything to look uniform... Meanwhile, they have AC down in the office >:(

Oh well, if it gets too bad today I'm taking my laptop down to the Starbucks inside Safeway! :)

Carolina

Last week Carolina met me at the farm for her senior session - We didn't spend a ton of time out by the lake, because there have been some bees there to pollinate the meadowfoam field - This photo is cropped in so you can kinda see the bees, there were actually a lot more of these bee boxes. I think they're gone now, and the good news is I'll get free honey later this summer! :)

Samantha, Amanda, Amanda, and Lucy

My sister Samantha and her college roommates wanted some pics together for their graduation from Oregon State (go Beavs!). I'm used to posing one girl at a time so this was a little different for me, but we had fun! Congrats girls!

They each have a tattoo that says "friendship" in a different language - Don't ask me what the languages are, I have no clue! :)

Tyler

If I weren't still groggy from the accidental 3-hour nap I took this evening, I would probably have a better time coming up with something to say here!

Luckily we found some sun the other day for Tyler's senior photos. We also found a lot of mud (just ask his mom and her poor shoes!), guess the ground isn't exactly dry yet :) At least I didn't get stuck and have to put my truck into 4WD this time (yep, that happened with Anders last week). Senior sessions at the farm - always an adventure!

Anders - Part 2

Luckily Anders and I found a break in the weather (only had to reschedule about 4 times - anyone want to move to Mexico with me?) to finish up his senior photos - We did a few back in the winter for yearbook, but it was FREEZING so... that's why we only did a few :)

He decided that answering a phone call from his dad was more important than photos, but these ended up being some of my favorites :)

A few favorites from my session yesterday with the adorable Kelsey - We spent quite a bit of time hiding under cover while it rained, but we still had fun and managed to get some shots between rain showers and wind gusts :) Watch for Kelsey: Part 2 later this spring when the weather shapes up!

Brianna - Senior Session

Just a few from Brianna's senior session yesterday - The weather turned out to be terrible - rain/snow/hail/wind/cold, but she still needed a yearbook shot so we couldn't wait to reschedule (again).

We jumped into a greenhouse outside of Harrisburg to grab a few shots out of the elements. It actually worked out really well, it was warm (yay!) and the building did an awesome job diffusing the light. Now I want my own greenhouse just for shooting... :)

Thank you to Tina of Budabing Budabloom for making this shoot possible :)  Her greenhouse is right off of I-5 between Albany and Eugene (Harrisburg exit 209), and will be open for the season soon! One of her specialties is gorgeous hanging baskets, the best you'll find in the Tri-County area from what I've seen (and heard from others). Let me know if you'd like her contact info!

Samantha

Last week I met up with Samantha for a quick senior portrait session - she currently holds the record for the senior who's traveled the farthest for their session, coming up to Corvallis from Rogue River (about 200 miles away)! Okay so she was also here to tour Oregon State (go Beavs!), but she could have chosen someone much closer to home so let me have my moment :)

It was pouring outside, but we managed to find a spot to get some shots for the yearbook. We'll be doing an actual outdoor photo session this spring, which I'm already looking forward to - she's very photogenic!

How gorgeous are these girls? Hannah & Mariah have been best friends their entire lives, and wanted some "friends" photos aside from the solo senior photos.
